Mahashivaratri Utsav Celebration 2025

The pious occasion of Shree Mahashivaratri holds tremendous spiritual significance in the Bharatiya Sanatan Dharma as Bhagwan Mahadev Shivashankar is worshipped all across India. Mahashivaratri is celebrated with great devotion by Bhaktas by offering Bilvapatra to the Shivalinga and seeking ShreeShiva’s divine blessings.

Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu has emphasised the profound importance of Mahashivaratri on several occasions. Sadguru Bapu has called this sacred day best suited for devotees to pray to and connect with ShreeShiva and invoke His divine grace to bring about positive transformations in their lives.

Mahashivaratri Utsav at Shree Aniruddha Gurukshetram :

Accordingly, on 26th February 2025, Mahashivaratri Utsav was celebrated with great devotion at Shree Aniruddha Gurukshetram. Shraddhavans took the darshan of Shree Trivikram Linga, offering prayers along with Bilvapatra and Sugandhit Jal (holy water). Shraddhavans had flocked to Gurukshetram in large numbers. Shree Trivikram Linga represents the Swayambhagwan Trivikram (Supreme Personality of Godhead), an extraordinary and divine form of Hari (Mahavishnu) and Har (Paramshiva).

Special poojan of Shree Mahadurgeshwar :

A significant highlight of the Utsav was the special poojan of Shree Mahadurgeshwar, performed alongside the sacred 12 Banalingas at Shree Aniruddha Gurukshetram. Shree Mahadurgeshwar is revered as NityaShiva, while the 12 Banalingas are the representations of the 12 Jyotirlingas.

Shree Shiva-Sahaparivar Poojan:

Furthermore, acknowledging the growing enthusiasm of Shraddhavans to perform the Shree Shiva-Sahaparivar Poojan on this auspicious occasion, a special facility was arranged this year. This Poojan, usually held at Shree Gurukul in Juinagar, was also organised at Shree Harigurugram to accommodate the overwhelming response from devotees. This initiative allowed a greater number of Shraddhavans to experience the divine energy of Mahashivaratri in an enriched spiritual setting.

Overall, with the grace and spiritual guidance of Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu, the Mahashivaratri was a deeply fulfilling experience, reinforcing the eternal connection between Shraddhavans and ShreeShiva. The divine vibrations, heartfelt prayers and sacred rituals performed on this day will continue to inspire Shraddhavans in their spiritual journey. As Mahashivaratri signifies the transcendence of darkness and ignorance into divine light, may ShreeShiva’s boundless grace guide every Shraddhavan towards inner transformation and unwavering faith.
