Param Pujya Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu established Shree Moolark Ganesh at Shree Aniruddha Gurukshetram on 04 September 2012, on the occasion of Angarak Sankashta Chaturthi in the month of Adhik Bhadrapada.
Shree Moolark Ganesha is considered Swayambhu, meaning accomplished, and is a highly divine, self-manifested form of Ganesh. It is also called Maandaar-Ganesh (मांदार-गणेश) or Shree Shwetark-Ganesh (श्रीश्वेतार्क-गणेश). Shree Moolark-Ganesha was established at the Shree Aniruddha Gurukshetram only after all the required rituals based on Shashtras were performed under the guidance of Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu.
While giving the information in this context in the biography, ‘The Bapu that I have known’, Purohit Shri. Atul Mahajan writes, ‘Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu had handed full responsibility of the installation of Shree Maandaar Ganesh in Shree Gurukshetram to Pathak Guruji and me. All the information available about how and what Shree Maandaar Ganesh is was merely a talk for us. The Ganesh idol, formed naturally from an Arka tree that has completed at least 21 years of age, is what Shree Maandaar Ganesh is. This Ganesh is Swayamsiddha, that is, the one who has all the capacities. We had no information about bringing this Ganesh idol out from the ground. The details were found out properly after detailed discussions with Bapu. In the year 2012, the idol was taken out from the ground after moonrise on the day of the Sankashta Chaturthi in the Paush month, which happened to be a Thursday. After that, by performing different rituals for eleven months and keeping the Ganesh idol immersed in Ashtagandha, oil and ghee, the idol was made Siddha or ready for installation.’
Explaining the importance of the Mooladhara Chakra in the human body during his discourse on 07 April 2016, Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu explained that Shree Ganapati is the Master of the Mooladhara Chakra of every person.
Obstacles in the functioning of the Mooladhara Chakra, which consists of four petals, namely intake (Aahaar), wandering (vihaar), conduct (aachaar), thought (vichaar), are removed by the grace of Moolark Ganesh. Bhakti of Moolark Ganesh removes obstacles in the worldly and spiritual life of man, and thus, He ensures easy progress of Shraddhavans on both these paths.
Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu writes in the Tulsipatra editorials of the ‘Daily Pratyaksha’ – ‘By chanting of Shree Moolark Ganesh mantra, the human intellect, i.e. the Pradnya endowed on us by God, takes control of human mind and intelligence and it frees the Shraddhavans from all problems and mistakes.’
The Mantra of Moolark Ganesh given by Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu is being recited at Shree Aniruddha Gurukshetram since 5 September 2012 as per Sadguru Bapu’s instructions.
Shree Moolark Ganesh Mantra -

Shraddhavans visit Shree Aniruddha Gurukshetram, have the Darshan of Shree Moolark Ganesh and pray that His grace may be extended to all their family members, that all obstacles may be removed, that their mind may be under the control of the intellect, that their intake-wandering-conduct-thought be good, that their children may progress in learning, etc.
It is believed that worship, prayers or appropriate wishes offered to Shree Moolark Ganesh in idol form are sure to bear fruit.
